Do not charge phone on bed or sofa. They absorb heat. At the same time, the heat generated during charging cannot be released. So, try to place the phone on a table or chair or any other hard surface while charging.

Identify the apps that make the phone hot, and remove them from the phone. Some applications continue to run in the background even when the phone is turned off. Due to which the phone gets hot.

Use original charger. If a charger is required, use the original charger of your specific brand. Cheap chargers can also cause heating issues in your smartphone.

Keep your phone away from sun exposure. When the sun shines directly on the phone, the phone absorbs the sun's heat. Hence, the phone should be protected from the heat of the sun to avoid the risk of overheating.

Even if the brightness of the smartphone is high, there is a possibility of the phone getting hot. The higher the brightness, the higher the strain on the battery. And, as a result, the phone will heat up. So, try to keep the brightness of the phone at a moderate level.
