How to remotely control your iPhone

In this article we are going to share with you how to control an iPhone remotely. Here we've shared two methods for controlling an iPhone.

Using Switch Control on a Mac

Join the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone and Mac. Switch Control will not function if they are not on the same network.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone, then tap Wi-Fi and select the network you want to connect to.Click the Wi-Fi icon in your menu bar on Mac, then click to select the network to which your iPhone is connected.

Sign in to iCloud on your iPhone and Mac using the same Apple ID. To use Switch Control, your iPhone and Mac must be signed into the same iCloud account, just like they must be on the same Wi-Fi network.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap "Sign in to your iPhone" or the name at the top of the menu. You'll be able to either sign in or see which iCloud account you're using.

Click the Apple logo on a Mac, then select System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud. If you are not signed in, you will see a blank space to log in; if you are already signed in, you will see the email address associated with your iCloud account.

Switch Control should be enabled on your Mac. You must enable this in order to control your iPhone from your Mac.

Select System Preferences > Accessibility > Switch Control after clicking the Apple logo. Go to the General tab and check the box next to "Enable Switch Control."

You must enter your password after enabling Switch Control.

Navigate to the Devices section of the Switch Control panel. It's the icon with the monitor and smartphone on it.

Choose your iPhone from the drop-down menu. When you select your phone, your Mac will display the phone's screen.

To stop controlling your iPhone from your Mac, return to the Devices menu and select Disconnect. The active connection between your phone and computer will be disabled, but Switch Control on your Mac will remain active. To completely disable Switch Control, go back to the Apple logo and select System Preferences > Accessibility > Switch Control.

You can view your iPhone's screen from your Mac, allowing you to play games, browse your photos, and compose emails and text messages!

Using Dell's Mobile Connect app

Get the Dell Mobile Connect app for your iPhone and Dell. Most Dells should already have this app installed, but make sure it's up to date. If you do not own a Dell laptop, you cannot download this app.

Install the iOS app from the App Store or ensure you have the most recent version 3 of Dell's Mobile Connect app. This method will not work if you do not have the most recent version of the app.

Start the app on both your Dell and iPhone. If you're already in the Microsoft Store or the App Store, you can launch or open it by clicking or tapping Launch or Open. Otherwise, the app icon can be found on one of your iPhone's Home screens or in the Start menu (Dell).

To connect your Dell and iPhone, follow the on-screen instructions. You may need to connect both your computer and phone to the same Wi-Fi network and enter codes to ensure the security of both devices.

Close the app on your computer or phone to disconnect.

Once your phone is connected, you can view and respond to text messages as well as play games on your computer!
